Application of Advanced Manufacturing Techniques to VET: the case of the Plastic Sector – AMT2P

MAIN OBJECTIVE:
AMT2P offers a methodology and a training tool for workers in the plastics industry to adopt advanced manufacturing technologies in the manufacturing process and to use them in a cost-effective and environmentally friendly way.
MAIN RESULTS:
The main results of the project are as follows:

- Develop a training methodology and support tools to address skills gaps (especially focused on staff experience, access to Advanced Manufacturing Techniques (AMT) and “green” skills gaps);
- Develop the content of the training material, with the support of IT tools provided by project partners with extensive experience in this field;
- Conduct pilot test workshops to validate the training methodology and obtain feedback from trainers and trainees;
- Evaluate the results of the pilot workshop and readjust the methodology and content of the training according to the current needs of the sector.
