DRONES360

DURATION:

2024-2027

OBJETIVO PRINCIPAL:

The project seeks to drive digital transformation, innovation, and the attractiveness of vocational education and training (VET) by integrating emerging technologies like drones and extended reality (XR) into green sector training. It aims to enhance the readiness, adaptability, and confidence of VET trainers to incorporate these technologies, equipping students with vital STEAM and green-related skills for improved alignment with labor market needs. The ultimate goal is to develop a workforce capable of addressing societal challenges such as climate change mitigation and adaptation.

MAIN RESULTS:

The project will deliver blended upskilling training based on a competence framework, encompassing STEAM and green sector skills, validated through professional development programs. Key outputs include the creation of digital training tools such as an e-learning platform, a mapping tool, podcasts, QR codes, and simulations using VR/AR technologies. Additionally, the project will provide a Drone360 portal for transnational blended professional training and organize local and transnational networking activities, including on-site visits and hackathon competitions.

Among the main tangible outcomes are a certified drone pilot e-guidebook, methodological guidelines, a validated professional upskilling program, and real-world case studies. The project also envisions producing a European Green Jobs QR-code panorama and fostering collaboration with labor market representatives through national and international training initiatives.
