MAIN OBJECTIVE: 

The GreenLead project seeks to establish and promote the professional profile of a “Green Leader” within SMEs. This includes defining the responsibilities of a Green Division and creating a competency framework, specialized curriculum, and training materials. It aims to equip SMEs with the skills and knowledge required for a sustainable green transition and modernize vocational education and training (VET) systems to address labor market demands.

MAIN RESULTS:

The GreenLead project achieved significant outcomes, including the development of a comprehensive professional profile and competency framework for the Green Leader, alongside a specialized training curriculum and certification model to evaluate Green Leader skills. It created an innovative e-learning platform and a GreenLead Toolkit to provide VET trainers and organizations with cutting-edge resources for supporting SMEs in their green transition. Through these efforts, SME leaders and key staff members were equipped with the necessary skills to lead sustainable transformations within their organizations, fostering long-term competitiveness and alignment with European Union green initiatives.
