Project-based Laboratories for Inclusive and Active Learning – ThINKER LAB

MAIN OBJECTIVES:

The ThINKER LAB association wants to broaden the educational offer available to students, creating learning pathways less linked to technical aspects and more connected to co-construction learning processes based on a hands-on challenge approach. The overall objectives of ThINKER LAB are to increase the social inclusion of young students and to increase the STEM skills of students through inclusive methodologies and collaborative work techniques using low-cost laboratories with recycled materials.

MAIN RESULTS:

ThINKER Lab’s activities are:

1. The development of active methodologies and techniques for an inclusive and participatory teaching.
2. The creation of a European platform called “ThINKER Lab”, a community for active and inclusive learning.
3. The creation of a manual for teachers
4. The creation of a handbook for students
