With the second term finished and about to enter practice period, the upper degree cycle students of Environmental Education & Control, have paid a visit to the Natural Park of Urkiola.
Anbotoko´s bridesmaid has accompanied them in a magnificent sunny winter day to put into practice and reflect in a privileged surrounding everything learnt in these two years.
The students have analyzed the existing ecosystems in woods, plains and mountain tops in the area with the AZERI Natura Guztiontzat team.
AZERI dedicates to develop environmental education activities in nature with people suffering from sight and/or mobility problems. The students of ECA, using the off road Joëllete chair that the AZERI team uses, have climbed one of the peaks of the park thanks to the effort and team work of the group. Also they have worked in pairs in a dynamic identification of local trees with the objective of developing other senses apart from sight.
The students roll has been preparing the food as well as arranging the sleeping rooms and creating warm atmosphere and adequate for the practical learning. A magnificent time to conclude the term and to enter the labour world with strength.
