MAIN OBJECTIVES:

The IMPACK project addresses the need to promote attractive and interactive training for the packaging industry, bringing to the forefront the need for a Vocational Training program that promotes education in new areas of packaging innovation, customization and sustainability through interactive educational resources.

MAIN RESULTS:

The project aims to design, develop, test, implement and disseminate an innovative training program in Innovative, Customized and Sustainable Packaging Design for VET comprising a modular online training course, facilitated by two innovative tools:

• The creation of the IMPACK Training Program and Delivery Environment. The first result introduces consumer trends through the design of a training program, elaborating on the latest innovative approaches to sustainable and customized online retail packaging.
• The development of an IMPACK Dynamic Demonstrator. The tool visually displays real industry scenarios and demonstrates clear ways in which packaging manufacturers, graphic designers and print workers can start designing sustainable and creative packaging products immediately, while showing the context-dependent nature of sustainable solutions.
