Benchmarking for Quality Assurance of eLearning offerings in VET education – BEQUEL

MAIN OBJECTIVES:

The BEQUEL project aims to assist VET schools in their progress towards the effective development of online VET programs and thus ensure that digital education initiatives are developed through quality practices. The project includes actions that contribute to building e-Learning education readiness and mitigating the impact of the crisis on VET education.

MAIN RESULTS:

The project uses the notion of benchmarking, which means comparing individual results with practices followed by VET institutions in other EU countries and ultimately worldwide. In this way, it enables self-reflection and helps improvement and adoption of best practices in the post-COVID-19 VET landscape as the main outcome.

BEQUEL has also created synergies and promoted the adoption of online learning in VET, not only for theoretical modules but also for modules traditionally taught in workshops (remote laboratories). Transferring practical labs/workshops digitally and remotely is one of the biggest challenges currently facing VET.
