Politeknika Txorierri participates in Engine4F (Engineer for the Future), a European project that aims to increase the number of female students who follow technical ways, either in vocational training or college.
Engine4F intends to intervene at an early age (12-14 years of age, corresponding to 1st, 2nd and 3rd of ESO) in order to promote, especially among female students, areas normally chosen by boys: electronics, robotics, ICT, industrial maintenance, renewable energy, etc.
The project starts collecting information about the current situation: the opinions and expectations of students. So far, 151 students from 3 different schools, two in Bizkaia and one in Gipuzkoa, contributed to the project by completing a questionnaire.
