Generation Z for Community Development and Sustainability- GENZ4GD

MAIN OBJECTIVE:

The main objective of GenZ4GreenDeal is to increase the competencies of young people for positive action toward community development and sustainability through the support of civil society organizations, local communities and their peers from other cultural backgrounds.

MAIN RESULTS:

The main results derive from the good action of three phases:

• • The initial phase of the project consists of the collection of best practices and youth initiatives on the project themes.
  • The second and most comprehensive phase of the project is the creation of an online course that consists of developing a detailed methodology based on the manual for youth workers that is again used as educational material for the GenZ4GD course.
  • The third phase of this project takes the form of podcasts by experts and youth in co-creation. This is an effort to advocate for green issues and environmentalism so that as many young people as possible get the information, skills and knowledge to develop local community actions that contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals and to the development of their communities.
  • The last phase consists of collecting and compiling all the good and bad practices and experiences of the first three phases in a publication that will serve to further train youth workers and people working in youth organizations.
